The following is a list of general issues you may come across as a servicer.

Bypass valve open allowing hard water flow.
- Excess brine water in tank.
- No power to unit – outlet connected to light switch or breaker tripped on electrical panel
- Water hardness set too low or has changed– retest and reset hardness.
- Salt is bridged – follow breaking bridge instructions in the manual.
- Meter not counting water flow.
- No salt in tank – system requires 10-12” of salt to recharge correctly.
- Unit plumbed backwards.
- Soft water feeding irrigation system.
- Low incoming water pressure.
- Hot water used during regeneration time (regen time set incorrectly)
- Humidifier connected to soft water drawing hard water during a recharge into water heater.
- Controller programmed with incorrect model code.
- Iron fouled resin creating short capacity.
