Making sure your system is programmed correctly is key to getting the best softened water experience. Ready to program your water softener? Follow the instructions below to begin. These instructions can also be found in your Owner's Manual.

1. Plug the power supply into the outlet. You'll hear a beep, followed by some brief model information on the screen. Next, the screen will display 'Set Time'. If that doesn't show up on your screen, press the 'Select' button a few times until it does. Use the up and down arrows to set the time. Once the time is set, press 'Select'.
2. Next, 'Set Hardness' should show on the screen. Use the up and down arrows to set this. If you're unsure of what number to set it to, check out the article Hardness Level Programming. Below is just an example - you're hardness level may need to be something different. When finished, press 'Select'.
3. Set Recharge Time should show on the screen next. The default is 2:00AM. You want to have it recharge during a time when there won't be any water usage in the home. You can leave it at 2:00AM or change it if you'd like. Press 'Select' when good.
4. Now, you'll set the Salt Type. It's defaulted with NaCl (this is the standard water softener salt). If you are using KCl, be sure to use the Up/Down arrows to set it to the correct one. When you're good, press 'Select'.
5. Set the Salt Level. When you add salt into the tank, you'll want to add it up between 2 and 5 on the tubing inside. Check out Adding Salt to the Tank for more info. You should use the Up/Down arrows to identify what level the salt is at.
